Bio

Kerry O'Toole is a self-taught woodworking artisan and sculptor.

He believes that trees are a gift from the Creator. "I'm just the instrument giving expression".

Using mostly basswood as raw material, Kerry creates his original sculpted "fiddlehead" furniture pieces, saluting New Brunswick's edible fern that sprouts along the banks of the Saint John River in the spring.

Inside his workshop and studio gallery you will find headboards, benches and chairs with this distinctive fiddlehead carving, along with intricately carved wooden doors and wildlife carvings.

Kerry is a married father of two.
