Thank you for supporting North American contemporary artist, Ken O'Toole. Working fulltime from his home studio in Fort Worth, Texas, Ken experiments and creates in multiple media.
The Art Shakers and Vessels on display here are the result of experimenting with polymer clay crafted over re-purposed glass containers.
Using a myriad of vibrant colored clay, Ken creates rolled "canes" approximately 1" to 1.5" in diameter. Each cane is sliced, and each slice applied and pressed by hand to create a seamless abstract finish. The finished piece is baked, cooled and glazed with acrylic finish.
Each cane the artist creates is a unique palette that cannot be recreated.
